About the Role

We are looking for a skilled .NET API Developer to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable APIs that power our applications. You’ll work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver secure, high-performance backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C# code
• Integrate APIs with SQL Server / other relational databases
• Implement authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API specifications
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for security and scalability
• Maintain API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Work within an Agile/Scrum development process

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing APIs using ASP.NET Core / .NET Framework
• Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience with SQL Server, database design, and query optimization
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Knowledge of API security best practices (JWT, OAuth2)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP a plus)
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka)
• Familiarity with API gateways and rate limiting
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
